Welcome to the Mathematics and Physics Department

The Mathematics & Physics Department is in the Division of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and offers courses in mathematics, statistics, and physics for college programs of study and technical programs. Primarily the department provides courses that lead to a degree in Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.), Associate in Arts (A.A.), and Associate in Sciences (A.S.).

The department has 36 full-time instructors and 5 adjunct instructors. Courses are offered on five campuses: Main Campus, Northern Wake Campus, Western Wake Campus, Public Safety Education Center, and Health Sciences Campus.
